The antidote to isolation is not more discipline. It is other men.
A weekly 60-minute telehealth group for men working on intimacy, honesty and behavior they have carried alone. Clinician-facilitated, direct, and confidential by agreement.
Most men have people around them and nobody who knows anything real.
Shame survives on privacy. You can work hard in individual therapy and still hold the private belief that you are the only one like this, because in your actual life, you have never once heard another man say it.
Group takes that away. Four or five men, every week, saying accurate things about pornography, desire, resentment, fear and their marriages. The first time someone describes your inner life better than you have managed to, the theory that you are uniquely broken quietly stops working.
This is the part of my practice I care most about, and the reason I run it at all: healing happens in community, and isolation is what keeps men stuck for years.

What actually happens in a meeting
The structure is consistent, which is part of why it works. Open each stage to see how the hour runs.

Your first month in the room
There is a screening conversation before anyone joins. It protects the men already in the group, and it protects you from walking into the wrong room.

Before you join
A conversation with me first
Nobody drops into the group cold. We talk one to one about what you are working on, what the group asks of members, and whether this is the right moment. If it is not, I will say so and suggest where to start instead.
Everything men want to know before joining a group of strangers.
