You are not unstable. The ground moved.
For partners living with the aftermath of hidden sexual behavior: the vigilance, the self-blame, the question of whether any of it can be rebuilt. We slow it down before anyone asks you to decide anything.
What you are living with has a shape, and it is not madness.
Partners are often the last people offered support and the first to be told to be patient. Neither is fair. Open anything here that sounds like your week.

Four places this lands, and what we do with each.
None of this is treated as an overreaction to be managed down. Open each one.
Why you cannot simply calm down
Your body has learned that the ground can move without warning. Vigilance is what it does with that information.
Reality that has to be rebuilt
Much of the pain is not only about the behavior. It is about discovering that your account of the last several years was incomplete.
The question you keep circling
Whether you were enough, whether you should have known, whether some version of you would have prevented it.
What rebuilding actually asks
Trust is not restored by promises. It is rebuilt by a long series of small, boring, verifiable things.
Stabilize, then clarify, then decide.
I will not give you a timeline and I will not tell you what the relationship should become. What I can describe is the order the work tends to take.

First
Stabilize before deciding
Sleep, eating, work, children, and who you are allowed to lean on. We lower the immediate chaos and put a boundary or two in place that you actually chose.
What I can and cannot offer here.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, so I can work with you if you are in California, in person in Long Beach or by telehealth anywhere in the state.
I work with partners inside couples therapy, and I will say plainly on the consultation call when I think you also need your own individual therapist, many partners are better served having someone whose only job is them.
I do not promise a particular outcome for your relationship. Nobody honestly can.
The ones partners ask first, usually apologizing for asking.
