Four hundred miles away, on a screen, or not at all.
This is a Long Beach practice. For the Bay Area that means secure video and nothing else: no visiting office, no hybrid arrangement, no implication of a local presence.

You are not local to me, and I am not going to pretend otherwise.
The Bay Area has excellent therapists, including people who do this work. If one of them fits, see them: in-person care from someone in your city has real advantages I cannot offer from here.
The reason people contact me from San Francisco anyway is usually that they have already looked, and the specific combination they want (a certified sex addiction therapist working with men on shame and intimacy rather than on rules and abstinence counts) has not turned up nearby.
If that is your situation, video works, and the whole practice already runs this way for a large share of clients.
Four facts, none of them flexible.
Better to read them here than to discover one of them in week three.
Judge the practice on the work, not the map.
