Focus area

The behavior is not the whole story. It never was.

For men whose pornography use or sexual behavior keeps outgrowing the limits they set. We work the cycle and what sits underneath it, without treating your sexuality as the thing to be removed.

Recognize

Most men arrive able to describe the behavior and not the pattern.

You do not need a diagnosis or a rock bottom to start. What you need is one hour a week and a willingness to be honest in it.

Open any of these that land. Nothing here is a checklist and none of it is a verdict about who you are.

The cycle

Four parts, and the behavior is only one of them.

Compulsive sexual behavior is rarely about wanting sex too much. It is usually the fastest reliable way a man has found to change how he feels. Open each part.

Before

The conditions, not the trigger

There is almost always a state that comes first: wired and tired, unseen, resentful, bored, quietly angry after a conversation that did not go anywhere.

During

What it reliably delivers

It works, briefly. That is why it persists. Pretending otherwise makes the conversation useless.

After

The hours that follow

The crash, the promises, the distance from whoever is in the next room. This is usually the part that brings a man to therapy.

Underneath

Where the pattern learned its job

What you learned about sex, secrecy, anger and closeness long before any of this had a name.

The shape

How the work tends to move.

No timelines and no promises about results. I do not know your life yet, and anyone quoting you a recovery schedule is selling something. What I can describe is the shape.

Weeks 1–2

The whole picture, once

You say it out loud to one person, in the level of detail you choose. We look at where things stand practically (work, relationship, sleep, money, time) and put structure in place that you had a hand in designing.

Where this work happens

Three settings, often in combination.

Individual Therapy

The primary room. Weekly, fifty minutes, in person in Long Beach or by telehealth across California.

Men's Group

Saying it aloud to other men who are working on the same thing. Accountability without shaming.

Couples Therapy

When a partner is carrying the impact and the two of you are deciding what repair asks for.

Questions

The ones men ask before they are willing to book anything.

One sentence about why you are calling is plenty. I will tell you honestly whether I think I can help and what I would start with.
