Most people know something is wrong before they know what to call it.
You do not need the right word to start. Here is what I actually work with, described the way people describe it to me on the phone rather than the way it appears in a manual.
A description of your week is enough to begin with.
Almost nobody calls me with a category. They call with a Tuesday night, a conversation that went badly, an amount of time that got away from them, or the feeling of running a second life alongside the first one.
Naming it comes later, and it matters less than people expect. What we need at the start is the shape of the thing: when it shows up, what it costs, and what you were hoping would be different.

Fourteen ways in, all of them the same work. Open whichever one sounds like your own voice.

The behavior itself
Compulsive Sexual Behavior
- “I have quit more times than I can count”
- “It is not even about wanting it anymore”
- “Nobody in my life knows the actual amount”
We look at the cycle honestly: the conditions it shows up under, what it is doing for you, and what would have to be true for you not to need it. Not a purity project. A sexuality you can live with in the open.

Specialties are the what. Services are the where.

None of these are separate programs, curricula or add-on fees. They are what the hour is usually actually about. The practical question is only which room you start in.
Individual therapy is where the behavior, the shame and the assertiveness work mostly happens. Couples therapy is where disclosure, repair and daily honesty get built. The men’s group is where all of it gets rehearsed with people other than me.

What people ask before they know which of these they are calling about.
