The commute, the remote afternoon, and where the pattern moved in.
The Orange County version of my pornography use page. Same approach as the main page; what is added here is the shape of a week in this county and what that does to the habit.
The main page holds the argument: why the amount matters less than the function, and why shame is the engine rather than the brake. Read it for the thinking behind the work.
This page adds the part that is specific to Orange County: the freeway hour, the remote afternoon, and the way a habit expands into whatever unwatched time a week offers it.
Step through where the pattern actually sits.
The drive
An hour a day of privacy nobody questions
In a county built around freeways, the car becomes the one reliably unobserved space in a man's day. A lot of the pattern lives there, and a lot of the deciding does too. We look at that hour directly rather than pretending the work happens only at home.
Video most weeks, the office when it helps.
One office, in Long Beach, and secure video anywhere in California. From the north county the drive is short; from further south, video is the arrangement that survives a year rather than six weeks.
Fifty minutes at $185 in either format, a sliding scale between $170 and $225 when the fee is what is stopping you, private pay rather than insurance, and a free fifteen-minute call first.
Logistics, mostly.

One call, from the car if that is the private hour
Fifteen minutes, free, no paperwork. Parked, headphones in, is a perfectly reasonable place to start.
